For this pretty little paino room/sitting room, our client wanted us to give the space a facelift on a budget. She asked us to use as much of the original furniture and decor as we could in the room, but a few new additions here and there really made the space a “Wow!” We especially love the fresh color scheme!
Our clients for this design were repeat clients, which is always fun! They wanted an inviting space for watching movies viagra entertaining, and they were open to trying bold colors and styles. We really wanted to give them a room that felt current and modern, but not cold, so we used warm colors and LOTS of texture to keep things balanced. We love the abundance of reclaimed wood in design right now, and using doses of it throughout the space was just what the doctor ordered. Enjoy!

With this design we wanted to bring our client’s amazing lake view inside. She wanted something breezy, but sophisticated. We worked with her existing bed and bookshelf, softening them with custom textiles in soft blues and greens. We used a variety of textures and finishes to add interest – mercury glass, metal, wood, wicker, linen, etc.
As a tie-in to the black bookshelf, a distressed black finish was chosen for the striking mirror above the bed.
Airy Belgian linen curtains are dressed up with raw-edged silk ribbon. The large sectional lamp gives the illusion of a hanging lantern.
It’s OK to mismatch your furniture as long a there is a balancing element somewhere else in the room. For example, the wood tone on the ottoman matches the headboard on the bed, while it’s fabric is a natural linen very similar to that of the nightstand tablecloths.
We LOVE the blue and green Suzani print on these pillows!
