The fall brings out a special camaraderie amongst Nebraskans. Yes, it’s mostly because of Husker football, but it’s a time when we can celebrate just how proud we are to call ourselves Nebraskans…even if much of the country can’t find us on a map. These days, I’m not in Nebraska anymore, so I’m feeling extra nostalgic. I can’t stop reminiscing about the place where I grew up: The open space, the sense of familiarity, the interesting and wonderful people.
Even non-natives get caught up in the spirit upon visiting or moving there. It’s contagious. Nebraska is just THAT kind of place – Utterly friendly, down-home…and now on pretty much every “Top 10″ list ever written – from “Best Places to Raise Kids” to “Best Places for Entrepreneurs to Thrive” to “Best Places For Young Adults to Live.” So for today’s blog, as a I sit here in LA, missing my great home state, I thought I would show the place a little love and do a round-up my favorite “Nebraska” wall decor!

Speaking of maps, they make cool wall decor! Vintage Omaha Map via Esty Shop Holcroft.
Not into maps? An alternative would be to frame a series of colorful, vintage Nebraska postcards. Via Esty Shop Burst of Creativity.
And finally, an artistic take on the ol’ red and white. Via Etsy Shop Bugsy and Sprite.
