Fluff Your Stuff Designer/Owner, Lorrie, wanted to bring new life to this client’s living room and kitchen through bold color, streamlined furniture, and exciting pattern. The new spaces exhibit the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional elements – they feel fresh without losing their coziness. The client’s response after seeing her new rooms? “I love it. I can’t believe it’s my home!!!! I grew up with no bathroom in the farm house and no running water and coal stove for heat. So I’ve come a long way baby!!!”

Painting the kitchen walls a deep, rich red really made the white cabinets pop!

Occasional tables can make all the difference: An oversize wicker ottoman really grounds the conversation circle, and metal nesting tables are a great alternative to a plain accent table.
If you have high ceilings, putting up bold, ikat-print drapes can create an instant focal point!
